islands in the stream
Imagine a 1970’s condo with a southwest “theme”. That’s how this condo on the 15th floor, over-looking the Atlantic Ocean was decorated. Now imagine a complete renovation with the very tiny kitchen re-located, expanding central to the condo and capturing the spectacular ocean views. The orange 1970’s ceramic tile was replaced with porcelain plank tiles and the “popcorn” ceiling was removed to expose the original concrete structure. A coffered ceiling was created to innovatively house plumbing and electric wiring as well as serve as an aesthetic design element. Custom cabinetry was designed for each room which eliminated the need for excess furniture in this small space. The once, two bedroom condo with tiny galley kitchen was simply re-configured and now has become a three bedroom condo taking advantage of the incredible ocean front views.
